Not a lot of collections stop me in my tracks like this did. Fluid, beautiful, and effortless were the first words that came to mind. There is a very clear theme to the collection which is something that I really love, because not only did each look stand out on its own, but the entire collection was a gorgeous body of work all together.
In the words of Steff Yotka, who wrote up the review of the collection, she did a beautiful job in describing this collection, saying that “Every goddess has a goddess dress”, which felt like the perfect mantra of these resort looks.
Silk, linen and alpaca wool gracefully hung off of the silhouettes on the runway, with leather thigh high boots and multi-strap belts. Trailing silk ribbon details. Leather fringe. Chokers. Colors were a clear theme of marigold, charcoal, and ivory,. The folded detailing around the torso allowed the silk and linen slips to hang effortlessly off the models. Leather and suede thigh high boots, multi-strap leather belts, and silk slips with trailing ribbon details were some of my favorite combinations. I personally loved the combo of leather and silk. My favorite outfits are ones that are so comfortable that you could wear during the day, a night out, and go to sleep in them. Now comfortable and beautiful? A dream come true.
